Tracklist A - Zomby Memories Rmx B - Darkstar Saytar Review Another killer from the MG77 crew - this one's been getting lots of attention on the forums and, by the evidence of last week's debut twelve from Darkstar, looks set to become a bit of a club staple in the coming months. Darkstar's remix of Zomby's "Memories" spreads out on the a-side with another Various Production style reworking of midnight dub into a widescreen soundtrack augmented by a mighty wobbly bassline and an evocative riff Ennio Morricone would be proud of. Brilliant stuff. "Saytar" on the flipside is more breezy and tweaked for a more primal dancefloor experience - its hard to get away from those Various comparisons because the sound palette here is so varied, but there's a self-reflective quality to these tracks that almost makes you forget that the bassline is heavy enough to uproot most buildings. "Saytar" is one of those anthemic killers that should have you hooked regardless of just how deep into the whole dubstep thing you've ventured - followers of the aforementioned Various Production should check this out without delay.
